About Hackathon
E-commerce is a major engine driving retail trade around the world, and it is expected that 22% of global purchases will be through e-commerce by 2023. This sector has witnessed significant growth locally since the launch of Vision 2030, with 60% of Saudis buying products online. One of the most important factors for the growth of this sector is the continuous innovation in technologies that have enhanced e-commerce operations. The e-commerce hackathon aims to develop innovative ideas that help provide a smooth shopping experience for consumers and a wide e-commerce reach anytime and anywhere. This hackathon will give the opportunity to the participants to meet with a group of specialists in e-commerce and software development in a series of workshops that will result in a number of innovative projects.
